On Sunday, the New England Patriots lost 30-13 to the San Francisco 49ers.
It was a tough day for the Patriots on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett struggled on the day, completing 19 of 32 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Patriots also couldn’t do anything on the ground, with Rhamondre Stephenson carrying the ball 13 times for just 43 yards.
It was another disappointing game for the Patriots’ receivers, with the unit totaling 57 receiving yards. Running back Antonio Gibson was the team’s leading wideout, catching three passes for 67 yards. If anything, this game was a microcosm of the inconsistency that has plagued the Patriots all season.
With this loss, the Patriots fell to 1-3 on the season. They will look to turn things around by playing three of their next four games at home.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the Patriots’ Week 4 loss:
The Drake May era is ready to begin. This feels pointless.

Enough was enough, Drake had time to wait on the bench, so he let me in.
Otherwise, what was the point of drafting a first-round QB for fear of playing against him?

This team hasn’t been able to take down Tua yet against Miami, but they’ll probably take out a reserve next week, but even that’s a toss-up 😡

I couldn’t even finish watching the game… So do you want to watch the game after the game?
