Metcalf Foster is a retired U.S. Army sergeant first class and the first female national commander of the million-member Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in 2017-2018. He is also the commander of Chapter 21. Nearly 100 friends attended Vallejo Together’s (VT) Maria Guevara Gala on September 27th at Moose Lodge #468 in Vallejo. Guevara founded VT in 2010 as a volunteer-led operation. Several speakers spoke about Maria’s selfless and passionate service to the homeless and marginalized population of Vallejo.
