Sony Group Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) announced that SPE Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra will step down as SPE CEO.
Ravi Ahuja, SPE’s current Global Television Studios Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer, assumes SPE’s leadership as President and CEO, effective January 2, 2025. I will.

Mr. Vinciquerra joined SPE in June 2017 and has been instrumental in strengthening SPE’s film division, rethinking SPE’s television business, and aggressive M&A in key growth areas such as animation with the acquisition of Crunchyroll. Ravi Ahuja joined SPE in 2021 as Chairman of Global Television Studios, where he oversaw all production operations for Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and the studio’s India operations.
