Paul is well known for trying to grow his following on the platform, and his opinion on the trending followers debate is invaluable. He currently has 20 million subscribers.
He also predicts that the recruitment frenzy at Ronaldo’s side will soon die down and it may not threaten Mr Beast’s dominance.
According to TMZ, another place Ronaldo has a huge advantage over Mr. Beast is Instagram, where he has a whopping 637 million followers compared to Mr. Beast’s mere 60 million.

His rival MrBeast is raking in an average of $5 million a month in ad revenue from the platform alone, according to Marca, and his channel averages an estimated 400 million views.
So far, Ronaldo has posted 20 videos, all of which have garnered more than 170 million views, and YouTube reportedly pays him $6 per 1,000 views, meaning he could make anywhere between $1,200 and $6,000 per million views.

The Blast reported that he topped the list by earning a staggering $2.4 million per sponsored post, with Jenner coming in second with $1.8 million.
Ronaldo’s Instagram account has become home to sponsored posts from a variety of big-name brands, including LiveScore, Therabody, and cryptocurrency brand Binance. In 2019, he earned around $970,000 from sponsored posts, placing him third on Instagram’s rich list.

Ronaldo’s rival, World Cup champion Lionel Messi, took third place on the 2022 rich list with $1.77 million per sponsored post, beating out fourth-placed Selena Gomez’s $1.73 million.

Father of five became the most followed person on Instagram last year

Quite an achiever, the 39-year-old became the most followed person on Instagram with 597 million followers in November last year, catapulting him to the top of the follower rankings.
He overtook Messi to take second place with 376 million followers (updated to 480 million), with Jenner in third place with 372 million.
However, a minor feud between Jenner and Rare Beauty founder Selena Gomez has dropped Jenner to fourth place with 426 million followers. In comparison, Jenner’s follower count has been updated to 397 million.
