Disney and Star Wars critic Drunk3PO reports that his popular channel, which was approaching 100,000 subscribers, has been censored by YouTube.
“YouTube team, can you please look into this? My channel was demonetized this morning,” Drunk3PO wrote in a post to X.
He shared a screenshot of an email he received from YouTube, which read: “Drunk3PO, our team of policy experts have carefully reviewed your channel and found that a significant portion of your channel does not comply with the YouTube Partner Program (TPP) policies. As of today, your channel is not eligible for monetization and you will not have access to monetization tools and features.”

It’s unclear whether the Walt Disney Company had anything to do with censoring Drunk3PO, but former Mandalorian actress Gina Carano suggested on X-Men in October after the release of South Park: Panderverse that Kennedy was working with YouTube to censor content creators.
She wrote, “This is the part where KK demands that YouTube censor her for sharing this funny anecdote and laughing at it. She will have YouTube disable the dislike option because of the percentage of ratings she will receive. And she will have her PR thugs run smear articles in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter about the South Park creators and their families, smearing their names through every useful idiot under her control who would sell their soul for Lucasfilm.”
Carano continued: “She will mobilize an online mob to repeatedly call the creators of South Park racists, bigots and transphobes, demand that the creators of South Park issue a public apology using only terms she approves of, and finally demand that she attend a 45-person refresher course on a Zoom call with the LGBTQ community to hear how deeply hurt she was by a minor gaffe in a South Park episode. But maybe that plan is already over.”

Interestingly, this censorship comes not only as Drunk3PO is closing in on 100,000 subscribers (he currently has over 98,100), but also as he is about to release Achromatic Chronicles: Green, the sequel to Anachromatic Chronicles: Blue.
On August 23, he posted, “Reading Green again in the airport on my way to Toronto. It’s finished and should be out soon. The artwork is by Eric Hodson and it looks amazing! I can’t wait for you all to see it! I know you’re going to love this story.”
