Downdetector also showed over 3,300 reports of the outage in Canada and over 1,600 reports in the UK. The cause of the outages is not yet known.
Many users in India were unable to load new posts or refresh their feeds, with most of the issues appearing to be with the app.
This comes after a conversation on the space between X owner Elon Musk and former US President Donald Trump was interrupted by an outage that Musk claimed was a “massive” cyber attack.
X has been plagued by technical glitches and glitches since Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk for $44 billion, a deal Musk wanted to halt, and he has criticized Twitter’s code in the past, calling it “fragile.”
The outage appears to have been short-lived, lasting less than an hour in total.
