The premiere of season 50 of “Saturday Night Live” is fast approaching.
The offseason saw a number of cast changes, including the departure of several cast members and the addition of Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickley.
Meanwhile, the hosting lineup for this season’s opening will include returning comedians such as John Mulaney and Nate Bergatze. Earlier appearances this season have included Chapel Rowan and Coldplay.

When does “SNL” season 50 premiere?
Season 50 of “Saturday Night Live” will premiere on September 28th.
Jean Smart, the American actress and comedian who appears in the American comedy-drama television series “Hacks,” will be hosting the first show of the season.
The show’s musical guest will be Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll.

Who is in the cast of “SNL” season 50?
Former cast member Maya Rudolph is set to play the role of Vice President Kamala Harris in the run-up to November’s presidential election, while James Austin Johnson will reprise his role as former President Donald Trump.
