This pay rise will cover my rent increase meaning I’m no better off 😢
The government are taking the p.
The eggs are from 1 pounds to 3 pound, the oranges from 1 to almost 3 , the fish up too, the yogurt 3 pounds, the vegetables up too , the grapefruit 1 pounds each, everything up more then doble , but the gov. give 2% increase which they say is a success. What a country! They have money for a war but their people dying on streets homeless and hungry! Wow the most greatest britania! 😂😂😂
My council tax increase, my rent increase, my bill increase, inflation up over 20% and nhs 2% increase is a success?! Who are the people who think that?!
They are liars! From where did they get the 1600 + amount?! After 2 and half years of covid , 2 and half years going every morning to work in darkness and coming back home again in darkness and others staying home in covid times , now they give us 2% increase!? 😂 you must be joking! We should not accept anything below 20%! If the MP can increase their wages with 30% and put money in a war which does not have anything with UK , then you should give us 20% increase!!!
Can all MPs including PM give up 5% of their pay for NHS and call it salary sacrifice in the truest meaning of the word?
I'm a band 4 and currently in training to become a band 5, a 2% one off payment for me would be £478.98 (salary of £23,949) – Where is this minimum of £1,600 odd coming from?! Not to mention the tax on top of it coming off, so whatever extra money I may get from it, the government sticks it's claws into my paycheque again regardless!
Should at the very least be the same offer to all, as it is supposed to be Great Britain as a whole currently.
Abysmal and shameless offer. Reject.
I’n voting NO!
No stand strong nurses don’t accept less then your worth
I get an extra £50 a month after tax 😂😂 and now have to pay an extra £66 in electric. Having to pick up overtime to live!! Its killing me
It will mean that they are still losing at least five percent of their purchasing power because of government induced inflation.
It's just not enough, end of story!
Michael Jackson was right. They don’t really care about us!
They dont care about these hard working essential ppl a sorry state for any organisation
Also, why do you think Scotland awards a bigger pay increase to nhs workers, but the tories say that the “nhs is safe in our hands”?
Scotland, a country that voted against brexit, by a landslide scale margin, and where tories haven’t seen success since the 1950’s.
Any ideas?
Vote for tories

Some people need to wake up
Most of that will be absorbed in compulsory pension rate contributions and fiscal drag from frozen tax rates.
I don't think they should except it
The NHS is a burden to the quality of The Great British gene pool
Inflation has been around 10% so far in 2023, so in essence it's a 5% loss…
Means they can now buy milk and bread 😂
