West Ham United are looking to add a highly experienced Premier League player to their squad this summer.
The Hammers manager has recently said he needs to add more, despite already signing eight new players.
However, his first priority will be to move some unwanted players before the summer transfer window closes.
The Hammers head coach has made some truly impressive signings this summer, including Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jean-Clair Todibo and Crisencio Summerville.
So can we expect more new additions?

That certainly seems to be the case, with Lopetegui close to sealing deals for Carlos Soler and Galatasaray centre-back Victor Nelson.
And now the West Ham manager could be bringing a proven Premier League player to the London Stadium.
West Ham set to sign Kieran Trippier this summer
The 33-year-old Newcastle full-back has already been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph claim that the Hammers are considering a move for the England international.
Trippier played a key role for England at this summer’s Euros in Germany despite not being a first-choice starter.
It’s clear he is still a very good player but with his contract due to finish in the summer of 2025, his future at St James’ Park is uncertain.

In my opinion, Lopetegui should prioritise strengthening his squad in other positions between now and August 30.
So is a move for Trippier to West Ham a realistic option, or more importantly, is he someone we should even consider?
Trippier – Good idea or bad idea?
To be honest, I think they would be much better off signing a young fullback with great potential.
Two of our full-back options, Emerson Palmieri and Vladimir Coufal, are already over 30 years old.
Don’t get me wrong, Trippier is talented at the highest level, having won La Liga with Atletico Madrid and reached the Champions League final with Tottenham.
And it must be said that the Newcastle man has been absolutely brilliant since moving to St James’ Park from Atletico in January 2022.
But he turns 34 in September, so from a physical standpoint, decline isn’t likely to be far off.
If Lopetegui is really looking for another full-back, I think West Ham should look to sign someone other than Kieran Trippier.
