Weddings are already stressful, with booking the venue, sending out invitations, planning the catering, and creating the wedding outfit. Now imagine a wedding videographer adding to that stress after the ceremony.
Twitter user Ashraf went viral in a tweet expressing his dissatisfaction and disappointment after the wedding videographer he hired hounded him for nearly three months starting on his wedding day.
Selmat Pagi Diukapkan Kepada Semua Kekuali Videographer Wedding Saya β Abdul Majid Abdul Rahim.

His tweet reads:
“Good morning everyone, except for Abdul Majid Abdul Rahim, the wedding videographer.”
“It’s been three months and we still haven’t heard any news.”
βIf you still donβt have the video by next week, stay tuned for a special episode of How the Movie Director Fooled Us.β
In a tweet, Ashraf shared WhatsApp text messages to the wedding videographer, all of which went unanswered since September 4.
Netizens were quick to leave sarcastic but funny comments on Ashraf’s tweet.
One Twitter user said:
“Money scams are common. Wedding photography scams are common. One day there will be a major scam. It’s been three weeks since he died and we still can’t bury him. Is it online? This is why every business needs to be registered, no matter what.β
Another comment said:
“Is he editing a documentary?” Three months later, it’s still unfinished. β
And this video is a satirical take on the dedication of wedding videographers to their jobs.
“I think he might release a director’s cut version. It’s rated 18SG.”
However, after three months of no response, the videographer resurfaced and shared a lengthy public apology in an Instagram post.
In the post, he apologized to all the clients he left in the dark and admitted that he himself was irresponsible and procrastinated.
As it turns out, this wasn’t a scam, although there’s no information as to why the videographer left his client alone for so long.
The wedding videographer’s Instagram account @alphagraphy.production also appears to have had its posts deleted and is currently inaccessible.
Only their account profile states that they are not accepting work at this time and that they need to wrap up a few things by November 8th.
