Usher spoke out after his Twitter/X account was temporarily deleted following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest.
Diddy was arrested in New York last Monday (September 16th) and charged with sex trafficking, extortion and transportation for the purposes of prostitution, following a series of sexual misconduct allegations filed against him over the past year.
He has since been denied bail and latest reports indicate he is being placed on suicide watch while awaiting trial.
Yesterday (September 22nd), Usher accessed his X account and said it had been temporarily hacked after it was temporarily deleted.

Many users expressed skepticism in the comments section, claiming that it was too much of a coincidence that it happened after Diddy’s arrest.
“What?? LOL the timing is just a coincidence right?” one person commented, while another added: “No one will believe this.”
One user added: “Someone hacked you and deleted your old tweets? That’s a new story.”

Usher has not been directly accused of any criminal wrongdoing in the allegations against Diddy.
Diddy’s lawyer, Mark Anifilo, maintains that his client is innocent and will “fight tooth and nail” to be released on bail, TMZ reported. NME has also recently reached out to Diddy’s representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, following news earlier this year that Diddy’s home had been raided as part of a sex trafficking investigation, comments made by Usher in a resurfaced interview about his experiences at Diddy’s home have caused controversy.
Diddy discovered and nurtured Usher through his success in the ’90s and 2000s, and Usher even roomed with Combs for a year after signing a record deal with L.A. Reid.
Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2004, he said that during his tenure, Combs introduced him to “something completely different: sex, specifically.” “Sex is so hot in the industry,” he continued, claiming, “There were always girls around. You’d walk through the door and someone was having sex, or there were some people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”

He detailed this “pretty wild” experience in another interview with Howard Stern in 2016, claiming to have seen “weird things.” “You know what that was like in the ’90s?” he said.
“I went there to see the lifestyle,” he continued, “and I saw it, but I don’t know if I understood what I was looking at and was able to soak it in. It was pretty wild. It was insane. There was some very strange stuff going on, but I didn’t necessarily understand it.”
When Stern asked Usher if he would let his kids live with Diddy, Usher replied, “Absolutely not.”
Meanwhile, LL Cool J and Flavor Flav were asked for their thoughts on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest at the Black Music Action Coalition Gala in LA last week.
