Raw has strengthened its feature films and scripted division with former Brouhaha Entertainment development producer and BBC Film executive Sam Gordon joining as producer and executive producer.
Gordon joins the UK’s Tinder Swindler production company at a time of growth in screenwriting and feature film production, including Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming feature film Crime 101, which he will co-produce with Working Title. The indie film company also helmed feature documentaries Three Identical Strangers and The Imposter, Michael Pearce’s Telluride premiere Encounter and Euros Lin’s Sundance Film Festival title Dream Horse.
He moves from his development producer role at Brouhaha Entertainment, which he joined in 2021, where he worked on Cannes 2023 premiere “Firebrand” and co-produced “Motel Destino,” in competition at Cannes 2024. Prior to Brouhaha, he was head of development at Pride producer Calamity Films and also held development roles at Baby Cow and then-BBC Films, where he worked on feature films such as “Philomena,” “Judy” and “Benediction.”
In his new role, he will work with All3Media-backed Raw’s head of scripted television, Sarah Murray, filmmakers Bart Layton and Tim Wardle, and the senior creative team. He will report to CEO Joely Feathers and chief creative officer Dimitri Doganis.
