The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) main stock index ended Wednesday at 4,294.90 points, up 40.03 points or 0.94 percent.
A total of 190.25 million shares were traded during the session, with the trading value reaching AED 429.07 million.
Emaar Properties had the highest turnover of AED 137.44 million, while Drake & Skull International (DSI) had the highest trading volume with 31.96 million shares.
National International Holdings (NIH) topped the list with a 14.58% gain, while Watania International Holdings was the top loser with a 4.56% decline.
Similarly, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s benchmark index (ADX) rose 0.331 percent to 9,347.61 points.
Trading volume reached AED 1.34 billion through the trading of 304.04 million shares, giving the company a market capitalisation of AED 2.82 trillion.
International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover at AED 246.36 million, while Eshraq Investments was the top in terms of volume with 51.3 million shares traded.
Gulf Medical Projects was the top decliner with a decline of 9.57%, while Foodco National Foodstuffs was the top gainer with a rise of 4.17%.
