Residents in some parts of the UAE can expect rain over the next few days, according to a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
From Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23, cloudy to partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country with a chance of rain in the eastern and southern parts.
Winds are expected to be light to moderate at times, blowing from the southeast to northeast, with speeds reaching 40 km/h, stirring up dust. Residents are advised to use caution, especially when driving, as the winds will cause dust to fly and reduce horizontal visibility.

Moderate waves are expected in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, but may become rough at times.
For the past four days, the weather has been partly cloudy with dust and scattered rainfall in some parts of the country. Today, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy in some parts, especially in the South and East. As low clouds appear, rain is likely in the East Coast.
Temperatures today are expected to drop to a minimum of 26°C in mountainous areas and 27°C in inland areas of the country. Meanwhile, it is expected to reach a maximum of 47°C in inland areas. Humidity is expected to drop to 15 percent in mountainous areas and reach 85 percent in coastal and island areas.
