India’s 78th Independence Day on August 15th will be an emotional and uniting occasion for all Indians living in India and anywhere in the world. So this year, Iqbal Khatpur, an Indian resident of the UAE, celebrated Independence Day in a most unusual outfit: a Tesla Cybertruck in Indian colours. Soon, his patriotic act became the talk of the town and was praised by thousands, especially on social media.
Diablo Auto Accessories, a Dubai-based car wrapping company, followed suit, posting a video of a Cybertruck decked out in the tri-colour on its Instagram page. The post read, “Cybertruck designed for Iqbal Hatboor, a great personality with true patriotism for his country, celebrating India’s 78th Independence Day in UAE.” Iqbal Hatboor, a content creator and entrepreneur from Kasargod, Kerala, came up with the striking display to express his love for India.
The video quickly went viral, racking up over 200,000 views and almost 28,000 likes on Instagram. It also drew positive comments. “So much respect,” one user wrote, while another commented, “I love you. What a beautiful message. We are all Indians.” A third wrote, “This is amazing,” while a fourth enthused, “I absolutely love this.”

For many, this was a patriotic act by Mr Hatbool. Emotionally, no matter where they live, NRIs maintain a close bond with their homeland. His vivid expression of national pride in this extremely powerful and futuristic vehicle symbolized India’s progress and global presence.
When it comes to paying tribute to the unyielding spirit, nothing is more fitting than a rugged, high-performance monster like the Tesla Cybertruck. According to the Tesla website, the vehicle can tow 11,000 pounds and has a super-tough stainless steel exoskeleton and shatter-resistant armored glass. Plus, its impressive 12 inches of travel and 16 inches of clearance make it extremely practical in tough terrain.
