The Washington Commanders are 3-1 and have one of the most powerful offenses in the NFL. Rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels is breaking records, and Washington has been able to do whatever it wants offensively for four weeks.
Before the 2024 season, Washington had serious questions at offensive tackle and wide receiver. The entire offensive line is excellent, with the managers getting great play from a collection of pass catchers such as Terry McLaurin, Olamide Zachias, Noah Brown, Luke McCaffrey and Dyami Brown. Tight end Zach Ertz and running back Austin Ekeler also contributed significantly.
But Washington’s offense will slow down at some point. It will be up to offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and Daniels to adapt to other players’ adjustments. Adding another player with offensive skills will not hurt the commander.
Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams is now available. He would have a long list of suitors, but what the commander says makes sense for a number of reasons. Money and cap room won’t be an issue for Washington, which now has a franchise quarterback available for sale.
When word broke Tuesday that Adams would likely be suspended, Washington became a popular destination. We went to X (formerly Twitter) to see some of the reactions from Adams to Washington.
If I were Davante Adams, I’d be kicking and screaming to play for the Washington Commanders because of that QB. #RaiseHail

With any trade, many things need to be considered, such as the amount involved and the likelihood that the team will trade to a certain spot (e.g., the Raiders won’t trade their best offensive player to the Chiefs)
So I suggest a team that needs a WR and is cap rich… https://t.co/epPOjLoJVE

Davante Adams trade:
Chiefs are the scariest team in the NFL
The Bills are the next scariest thing in the NFL.
Fun: Cowboys
Realistic: Steelers
Nostalgic: Jets
Discreet Fire: Commander
Also low-key fire: Lions
Low-key shooting too: Charger
A nod to the aesthetic: Ravens
Shit: Patriots
Really bad: Browns

A few things about Tay Adams potentially pairing with Jaden Daniels:
1. ✅Cap Room — The managers have more than $25 million to take on Adams’ current contract.
2. ✅A young and exciting addition at QB on a rookie contract.
3. ✅We need someone to fill the position behind McLaughlin.
4. ✅Exceed…

If the Davante Adams trade goes through, the top three teams would be:
– Jets
– Steelers
– Commander
Also, the whole Antonio Pierce IG thing is pretty embarrassing and should have been addressed with Adams already

Don’t wait with bated breath for Adams to sign. But Barnwell is spot on here.
The commander is the team.

This situation for Adams is going to move quickly. Both sides want to get it done. Multiple teams are expected to express interest immediately. we are told this #Jets and #commander expected to be involved.

Imagine if Washington’s commanders replaced Jahan Dotson with Davante Adams. I wouldn’t care if they restructured that contract. Let Adam Peters cook for you. #RaiseHail

Te Adams to Washington #commander…They’re the team that will check the trade price for Adams.
Davante, a six-time Pro Bowler, could be the final piece to help Jaden Daniels & Co. grow. A true contender in NFC.

Commanders’ Davante Adams is going to have real nightmares, there’s no way they can have two Eagle killers in their receiving room.

I would choose the manager to acquire Davante Adams.
They don’t have to pay a QB for a while and have $25 million in cap space.
