The Atlanta Falcons came close to beating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, but running back Bijan Robinson couldn’t complete a fourth-down rush in the red zone. The Falcons lost the ball on downs and suffered a 22-17 loss in front of their home fans.
Few outside of Atlanta really felt the Falcons had a chance to win on Sunday, but they played well against the Chiefs in primetime. The team went 1-for-3 on fourth down and missed two chances to take the lead in the fourth quarter. Atlanta and Kansas City each committed one turnover, but the Falcons just couldn’t get into the end zone when it mattered.
Fans on Twitter were devastated by the Falcons’ 22-17 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. Some criticized the play calling, others blamed the officiating, but others were heartened by the way the Falcons fought against the defending Super Bowl champions.

Anyway, this is what I think
The Falcons are 0-3 right now, but they could actually easily go 3-0.
The only thing they’re lacking is QB mobility.
Everything else they do is enough to win games consistently in this league.

You lost to the Goats, but lost two starting OL and one ruined another set of downs, I can live with that, hopefully everyone will be back and ready to go because this team can compete with anyone.

All they can do is learn from it and keep working hard. Like I said, it’s a long season.

“Obviously, I don’t have a good feeling about them right now. They didn’t work,” Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said of the decision to go for running plays on third and fourth downs on the team’s final drive.

The Falcons finished the game successful after making just 2 of 9 third-down conversions for the third straight game.
Through three games, they are 6-for-27 on third downs.

All things considered, a win and two losses was expected given the tough three games to start the season, but it hurts knowing a win and one loss was right around the corner.

Tonight, the Falcons outdid themselves more than anyone else.

Kirk Cousins: “Frustrating night. Feels like we were in a position to win and then lost. … There are a lot of things we didn’t do well enough to win the game tonight.”

The Falcons are going to be fine. They literally just played the Chiefs and the refs lost two offensive linemen. This loss hurts, but they’re going to be fine. Damn it.
