The Seattle Seahawks traveled to Nashville earlier this week to take on the Tennessee Titans in their first joint practice in 33 years. Players like Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams, Devon Witherspoon and Rik Uhlen were featured in the practice, which was full of badmouthing and newsworthy moments. An eventful week of practice culminated in a preseason match that went all the way to the final game, where the Titans emerged victorious.
To start the game, Laviska Chennault Jr. escorted Dee Williams on a fantastic opening kickoff return.
Laviska Shenault had a great block on the kickoff and earned a coaching point.#Seahawks

Derrick Hall, who continued his strong camp, got a sack on third down and ended the Titans’ offense after gaining one first down.

Sam Howell was 4-of-4 on that drive, with two great decisions on first down and a 23-yard touchdown pass to the slow hands of Easop Winston in the end zone.#Seahawks Tennessee leads 6-0 late in the first quarter @News Tribune

Jason Myers misses the PAT for the second straight week. Seattle is down 6-0.

Sam Howell and the Seahawks offense got off to a slow start, but after two empty drives, something seemed to click. Sam Howell led two consecutive impressive scoring drives to give Seattle an early advantage.
Sam Howell threw the ball with all his might and fired a rocket pass to Cody White for a 33-yard gain.

Jason Myers made a shot from 27 yards out. #Seahawks They led 9-0 with 5 minutes and 4 seconds left in the first half.

A great catch by Brady Russell put Seattle in field goal position just before the end of the first half, and Myers completed a 48-yard pass to give Seattle a 12-7 halftime lead.

After allowing their first touchdown of the preseason, the second half ended in a thrilling display as the Seahawks’ offense capitalized on a 33-second drive, capped by Jason Myers’ second field goal of the game.
The second half of the preseason matchup was a very boring affair, with bench players battling for a spot on the final roster, but it ultimately ended in thrilling fashion.
What I didn’t like: P.J. Walker didn’t provide much spark to the offense. #Seahawks TOP lost 37-22 (ugly), 7 penalties, 3 sacks/5 TFL by OL, N Ceasar missed the field for 1, 2, 3.
What I didn’t like: Meyer’s 2nd PAT miss, the Titans bringing in Mason to face our 4th D.

It’s hard to be too down about this preseason loss, as Sam Howell and the offense came out fired up in the first half, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated by the one-point loss after Jason Myers’ missed extra-point kick.
The Seahawks will open their preseason at home against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, August 24th at 7pm at Lumen Field.
