I’m really enjoying watching the “Make a Game” series that Masahiro Sakurai started a while ago. This was an insightful look into the perspective of one of the most legendary video game creators of all time. He’s the man behind many accomplishments, including bringing Kirby to life and making Super Smash Bros. one of the greatest fighting game series of all time. So when I heard that the final episode was coming up, I was really sad. Now, Sakurai himself has revealed on Twitter when the final episode will be released, which makes it even sadder!
As seen below, Sakurai said the final video will be released around the 15th. However, there’s a twist…
As mentioned earlier, the production of new episodes for the YouTube channel will be finished soon. As of now, it looks like the last scheduled episode will be released on Tuesday, October 15th.

That’s correct! Bonus episodes are also included! Oh, Sakurai…we don’t deserve you. But seriously, this is great and I’m very interested to see how he ends things. Yes, there is speculation that he will reveal what he will be working on next game-wise, but that is not a guarantee. Let Masahiro Sakurai be who he is and let things end the way he feels is best.
