Brothers Jason and Travis Kelsey have reportedly signed a three-year, $100 million deal with Amazon-owned podcast studio Wondery for their “New Heights” podcast, according to Bloomberg.
The outlet reported that citing a person “familiar with the agreement but not authorized to speak publicly” that the deal is “worth more than $100 million.” The agreement will allow Wonderly to distribute audio and video episodes of “New Heights” worldwide, and “Amazon will have the rights to develop, produce, license and distribute all merchandise based on the show.”
A Wondery+ subscription allows fans to listen to episodes of “New Heights” early and ad-free, but it will still be available on other podcast platforms.
In a statement released through Amazon on Tuesday, the brothers said they “couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights.'”
“We love our show and the fanbase that has grown with us over the past two seasons. Wonderly understands our shared vision and brings a wealth of experience and resources to help take us to new heights! Through this partnership, we will create groundbreaking moments together. We are excited for Season 3 to begin, and we’ll see you soon, 92%ers!” the statement read.
The “92%ers” are the name for New Heights fans, named after the quarterback’s sneak play, which Jason Kelce said on a podcast works “92% of the time.”
The Kelsey Brothers podcast and its popularity have skyrocketed over the past year since Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began dating pop star Taylor Swift in 2023. The athlete frequently speaks about his personal life with Swift on the podcast, which has resulted in fans of the artist tuning in and sending in questions to learn more about football.
Jason Kelce, who retired as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year, joked in June that Swift has completely changed his fan base.
“My clientele used to be fat, hairy guys,” he told “New Heights.” “Now I routinely go out in public with 14-year-old girls.”
“That’s my main source of income,” he continued. “Girls who are 12 to 14 years old are like, ‘Oh my God! You’re the brother of Travis, the guy who’s dating Taylor Swift!'”
