Another club is reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer.
Trevoh Chalobah has been linked with a number of teams following Chelsea’s decision to leave him out of the first-team squad.
Crystal Palace, for example, have identified Chalobah as a target, but his move may depend on the future of Marc Guehi, with the former Chelsea defender the subject of an offer from Newcastle United.
However, Palace may not be able to sign Chalobah forever, with Champions League sides likely to enter the race to sign him.

Bologna interested in Trevoh Chalobah
Bologna have been competing in Europe’s top leagues this season and are in need of reinforcements, and that search could flow towards Chalobah.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are interested in the 25-year-old and are currently considering a deal.
Bologna have just sold Riccardo Calafiori to Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal for £42m and will need to sign another defender.
Tony Cascarino believes Chalobah is currently heartbroken following his expulsion from Chelsea.
Bologna could be a great destination for Trevoh Chalobah
Ideally, Chalobah would probably choose to stay at Chelsea, as he is a product of the club’s academy and the centre-back has been at the club since he was a boyhood player.
However, Chelsea’s signings of Tosin Adarabioyo and Renato Veiga meant there was no room for him, and if you count all the other players in the squad who can play at centre-back, excluding Chalobah, Enzo Maresca has six options at centre-back.
But it wouldn’t be the end of the world if Chalobah were to move to Bologna, where he could play in the Champions League this season and where a number of other former Chelsea stars have thrived in Italy.
Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori, who currently play for AC Milan, are just a few recent examples.
