When sweets start falling out of the sky, it’s time to scramble.
Terre Hill Days continued Saturday with activities for the whole family, including air acrobatics and a candy scramble in the main field of Terre Hill Community Memorial Park.
Airplanes dropped buckets of candy and prizes onto the field for participants to gather.
It was just one highlight of a day full of events, which included chainsaw carving, bingo, rides and food. There was plenty of live entertainment too, from acts including Nick DiSanto One Man Band, magician Papa Tater and country artists Jack and Davis Reid.
Saturday’s festivities concluded with a fireworks display at 10 p.m. The event will wrap up officially Sunday with an outdoor community church service at 10:30 a.m., followed by a community picnic and entertainment from the Bavarian Baron German Band.
