Sunset Jam, a free weekly celebration of music, food and community, will return for its second year at Rush Field Park from Sept. 6 to Oct. 25, 2024. Concerts will run from 5 to 8 p.m.
Baltimore’s Waterfront Partnership has announced the return of its weekly Friday night concert series, featuring a different Baltimore-based musician each week. This fall’s lineup includes Scott Patterson and the Kojo Red, Caleb Stein, Todd Marcus, Roses and Rust, Black Assets and more, performing at the park’s BGE Pavilion. Attendees will have a chance to close out their week with the sounds of Baltimore and beautiful views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
“We’re excited to bring live music, vibrant art and a variety of delicious food to the community this fall at Rush Field Park,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of the Baltimore Waterfront Partnership. “This event is an extension of our efforts to celebrate Baltimore’s unique culture and creative spirit, providing a platform for local artists and fostering neighborhood connections.”

In addition to the sights and sounds, Sunset Jam will satisfy your taste buds with a rotating selection of food trucks, including Fuzzies, Craving Potato Food Truck and, new this year, Koshary Corner, which will offer vegan and vegetarian options at each show, while new this year Rush Field Cafe tenant One Do Coffee Roasters will be sampling three new drink cocktails at each event and selling beer and wine.
Musicians like Scott Patterson will treat attendees to a fusion of R&B, indie and soul, while NU30X’s Caribbean Soul Experience will get you in the mood with the tropical island sounds of steel drums. Sunset Jam will kick off on September 6th with the unique sounds of Todd Marcus’ quartet, one of the few remaining bass clarinetists in the world.

September 6th: Todd Marcus: composer and instrumentalist jazz quartet September 13th: Barnyard Sharks: indie pop band September 20th: Black Assets: vocalist and singer-songwriter September 27th: NU30X Caribbean Soul Experience: band October 4th: Cheyenne Zadia: poet and instrumentalist October 11th: Roses and Rust: classic and contemporary rock n’ roll band from South Baltimore October 18th: Scott Patterson and Kojo Red: R&B fusion, piano and soul duo October 25th: Caleb Stein: singer, guitarist, songwriter and visual artist
