Stray Kids continues to enjoy worldwide popularity.
Stray Kids released their new mini album “ATE” on the 19th. On the same day, the title song “Chk Chk Boom” and music video were also released.
They have dominated the YouTube rankings, with the “Chk Chk Boom” music video topping the YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide Chart for six consecutive days since its release.
The music video’s views are on the rise again. It started out trending in 33 regions, and as of the 22nd, views have increased in 59 regions. It’s also ranked as a trending music video in 82 regions.
Stray Kids’ global presence is evident in the music video, which features a surprise appearance from Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who dress up as Deadpool and Wolverine.
The video, set against the backdrop of New York, features a visually appealing performance and is praised for the great chemistry between the members and the two stars, with the video recording having been viewed over 44.96 million times as of the 24th.
“ATE” is Stray Kids’ first comeback song of the year, and they have displayed extraordinary confidence, boldly declaring that they will “dominate the music market in the summer of 2024.”
The album sold a million copies on its first day of release. According to Hunt Charts, “ATE” sold 1,654,332 copies on its first day of release.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is scheduled to appear at Lollapalooza in Chicago, USA on August 2nd.
