Rachel Zegler has some wise words.
Rachel Zegler is tired of the shameless hate.
The 23-year-old actress has been under fire for criticism since being cast as Snow White in Disney’s upcoming live-action film, with some fans upset over comments she made about the original 1937 movie.
Amid the backlash, Zegler, who also appeared in “The Hunger Games 2” and “Shazam!”, hasn’t shied away from responding to trolls when necessary, most recently speaking harshly about a user who sent him death threats on Twitter.
In a tweet that Twitter removed for violating its guidelines, one user commented on Zegler’s photo, “Someone should kill you.”
“The funny thing is, I’m going to be dying eight times a week on Broadway this fall!!!!!! Get your tickets and see Leah! [the user’s handle]See you @/FBI.”
Her tweet was clearly a reference to the fate of Juliet in Shakespeare’s play, and Zegler’s fans naturally took notice of her clever response.

“The queen of promotions,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another user added: “Oh my goodness you are truly a champion. It’s so unfortunate that you continue to receive this hateful trash but you handle it like a queen.”
Zegler will co-star alongside Heartstopper star Kit Connor in the upcoming revival, which is directed by Sam Gold and features music composed by Jack Antonoff (frequent Taylor Swift collaborator).
Meanwhile, Disney released the first official trailer for the live-action “Snow White” remake at the D23 Expo on Friday (August 9).
In the video, Zegler can be seen dancing with the seven dwarfs while singing the film’s popular song, “Whistle While You Work.”
The trailer ends with a poignant scene of Snow White reaching for the apple we’re all so familiar with.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.
