Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has said he is prepared to introduce a two-drink limit on his planes – as long as the same rule is applied to airport bars.
His call for alcohol restrictions comes after a “spike” in violent disorder among passengers over the summer.

The majority of problems come from Brits going abroad. All the videos this summer are Brits having fights on board.
Coming next year RyanAir drink pass for just 9.99 haha
DIFFICULT CALL , as in who can handle there intoxication ?
saw a few 50 yr olds who downed 2 botles of wine b4 flying (not ibiza) , just a bit merry no more than that.
. Ibiza trip for a lot of under 40s is a party holiday so the alcohol party warms up/begins @ the airport bars , or they buy a DF bottle and swig it down while waiting to board, god forbid theres a flight delay
I guess that is mainly UK -> Ibiza flights
I despise the man. Avoid Ryan Air at any cost. But I do agree on the issue. I like a drink before and on flight at the right time of day and if Iโm not driving on arrival. Two drinks on a 2 hour flight is plenty. Drunks and piss heads should be banned
Limit? Just ban it, it's not needed
Great Idea. In fact have a total ban! I have been on several flights where the poor alcohol fueled behaviour of single and groups of people has made the experience of both passengers and crew more that just uncomfortable! In fact some were downright dangerous and frightening.
Compare this to several middle east airlines who dont serve any alcohol at all. Those problems don't exist and their customers and crew travel in safety and without stress.
Is this his Ratner moment ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
I remember decades ago trying to keep up with a German on Lufthansa. Result? I got drunk…
They can ban alcohol on flights and airports for me but it's all about the money
is this really a problem? I mean among all the issues one airliner has to deal with is 2 drinks limit a priority?
waste of time, alcoholics down a bottle BEFORE going to the airport
Canโt afford their prices anyway
Which will also mean the cost of those drinks will go up.
Just wait.
For safety reasons primarily
Cant have people endangering
Others with disruptive
Behaviour!
let's wait and see ๐ only time will tell
All hot air and empty promises. Just like Starmer!
What about the Alcohol Bottles that Passengers buy at the Duty Free Shop?
The sealed bag can be opened at any time, and the Alcohol flows unnoticed by the Crew
ryan air flies places where there is time for a drink? wonder why in EU they cant control what they drink even at the airport…I only fly them as a last result…
Nobody needs alcohol on a flight, it's asking for trouble
Sunak was bad Starmer is is worse
I am an alcoholic and I will never fly Ryanair again.
Too many drunk ba**** on flights, zero alcohol on any flight.
It's a bit too rock and roll for me.
Water should be sufficient…
