Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer hunt is not yet over and they may be looking to sign a right-back before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Vanderson remains a target for Spurs
It was revealed this week that Jed Spence will remain at Tottenham as a rival and cover for Pedro Porro, but doubts still remain over the young full-back.
This comes according to GiveMeSport, who claim that the Lilywhites are still closely monitoring Monaco’s Vanderson with a view to making a move for the Brazilian later this month.
Apparently, Spurs are still concerned about whether Spence can provide what they are looking for in a replacement for Polo and have not ruled out trying to sign another right-back.
Tottenham have denied any interest in Vanderson but manager Ange Postecoglou is still thought to be seriously considering pushing the club to sign the Monaco player later in the transfer window.
Spurs appear keen to test Monaco’s resolve with a belated bid and believe Vanderson would be the ideal candidate to replace Emerson Royal, who joined AC Milan this week.

Jed Spence is given a second chance
This is at odds with a report from Football.London this week, which suggested rumours that Tottenham were searching for another right-back were “misplaced” and Postecoglou was happy with his options in that area.
The report also revealed that Spence will be given a chance to prove himself this season and, having performed well during pre-season, will be given playing time with the first team as a back-up to Polo.
Spurs Web Opinion
The only reason we signed Vanderson this summer is because Postecoglou sees Spence as more of a left-back, so Vanderson would become the new second-choice right-back.
