Interested in playing some of the best golf courses in Minnesota? Welcome to Golfweek’s annual rankings of the best public access and private courses.
Below are the rankings for both types of courses, as judged by our nationwide network of raters. Hundreds of members of our Course Rating Panel continually evaluate courses, rating them on a point scale of 1 to 10 based on 10 criteria. They also submit a single overall rating for each course. The average of these overall ratings is used for all of Golfweek’s Best Courses rankings.
The courses on the first list have some form of access to the public, whether that be through the usual daily green fees, through a resort, or by staying at an affiliated hotel. There are tee times available if you want. No membership required.
Key: (m) modern, built after 1960, (c) classic, built before 1960. Courses with a number preceding the (m) or (c) are those in which the course ranks on Golfweek’s Best of America list of the Top 200 Modern and Classic Courses.
