UK-based YouTuber Miles Routledge has come under fire for making racist remarks against Indians on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Routledge, who was thrust into the spotlight after being stranded in Afghanistan after the Taliban overran the country in 2021, first posted a meme video showing Joe Biden firing nuclear missiles from a hidden silo inside the United States.
Routledge posted the video with the caption: “If I were Prime Minister of the UK I would expose our nuclear weapons silos as a clear warning to any foreign power interfering with UK interests or affairs. I’m not talking about a major incident – I want to launch and nuke the whole country for the smallest infraction.”

Soon after, he added a provocative comment: “Well, let’s just launch it in India!”
Routledge then shared a tweet from anonymous user X. Sharing a screenshot of the user, Routledge wrote, “Sir, see you soon, sir.” He then responded with another insulting remark: “Sir, when I finish my shift at Uber your mom yells in the middle of the night by the way sir please try harder, I spit on her and she just says thank you, I don’t shower and no women talk to me sir, I work at Tim Hortons.”
In another tweet, he wrote, “Indians threatened to find me but it backfired.”

In another post, Routledge shared the entire conversation and profile details of the troll accounts, which were later made unavailable. His remarks against Indians drew widespread criticism.
When other users accused him of stoking anger, Routledge defended his actions and expressed his disgust for India.
“Believe it or not, I hate India. And I get what it feels like to be Indian. He’s Indian. If a guy on the internet suddenly talks about avoiding your mother as his first reaction, he’s Indian. That happens a lot.”
