Paris Hilton is reeling after a fire destroyed her trailer while she was working on the music video for her new song, “Bad Bitch Academy.”
The celebrity CEO spoke about the “heartbreaking” accident on his Instagram Story on Friday, posting a photo of the burnt-out trailer along with a message of gratitude.
“Sadly, today my trailer caught fire while filming my music video,” Hilton wrote. “I am so saddened but so grateful that everyone is safe and so grateful for all the amazing support I’ve received.”
Hilton thanked the music video’s director, Hannah Lux Davis, as well as fellow celebrities Heidi Klum, Meghan Trainor, and Lance Bass. As Entertainment Weekly noted, Trainor is featured in Hilton’s song “Chasin’,” and Klum and Bass may appear in the “Bad Bitch Academy” music video.
Hilton, however, did not provide details about the cause of the fire.
In a second Story post, she showed fans some of the charred items that were salvaged from the trailer.
“Shooting the music video for ‘Bad Bitch Academy’ took an unexpected turn,” she wrote, adding a broken heart emoji.
On Saturday, the “Stars Are Blind” singer shared an Instagram video post assessing the damage, revealing in the post’s caption that “all of my favorite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, computers, cameras, phones, and more” were lost in the accident.
“It’s heartbreaking to see so much of what we love destroyed,” she wrote, adding, “But thankfully everyone is safe and that’s what matters most.”
Finding a way to make fun of the fire, Star wrote, “Praying for a calmer day 2 of filming Bad Bitches Academy,” before concluding his message by promoting his new album, Infinite Icon, due in September.
