Oktoberfest is the worst time
And to accompany these kuhs is a mouth-watering smorgasbord of German cuisine, including brats, saukraut, cheese, Bavarian pretzels, schnitzel, dinners, desserts, and lots of wurst. There will also be flammkuchen, a type of German pizza, nuggets and burgers for kids, and brachos, nachos with brat crumble and cheese sauce.

The 32-piece band is scheduled to perform Friday at 4:15 p.m., just before the 6 p.m. opening ceremony. They will later join Via Mushikanten to perform more songs.
Other groups performing include The Clubberheads (a three-generation group from Ohio), The Bratz, Bayou Bavaria, Wurst Case Scenario, Prost, Rocky’s Holy Schnitzel Polka Band, and the 610 Stompers.
The beer mug holding contest “Maskrugstemen” is held every day. Also, chicken dancers flap their wings every day. The humorous German song “Schnitzelbank” will also be performed with audience participation.
