The bought lies
Kamala gave 8.2 billions to Ukraine and $750 to every family in NC that is devastated for the hurricane- what a disgrace- This woman is FIRED
The workers already got 60 percent, they should continue the strike for a final agreement. I think the January calendar contract is only for buying time, it is in no way related to an increase in wages. They talk about losing billions of dollars a day, from an investor's point of view, someone has to pay for those billions of losses. I hope that when the time comes in January, the employee really gets the 77%, there is no need to pay for those billions.🙂
automation will stop them from being able to hold us hostage and make things go up in price. if anything this proves me need more automation.
What is fox news going to report on now after all of the fear and panic coverage over this 2 day strike😂
I worked hard all my life. I was union and we went on strike only once in my working life. I was on the negoating board electricial union 474 in Memphis. We didn't demand 62% salary increase. we got 8%. They demanded and got what they did due to their impact on the economy if they stayed on strike very long.
Look Slick I research my stats. I don't pull crap out of a hat like the Democrats and I can do math just fine. So you are wrong.
According to the US BUREAU OF LABOR, the AVERAGE U.S. annual salary in Q4 of 2023 was $59,384. This is up 5.4% from the same time period in 2022 when the average American was making $56,316 per year. Average weekly earnings reached $1,142, while the average American made $4,949 per month in Q4 of 2023.
The average salary increase is 4.8% to 6.6% anually from 2020 to 2023. NOT 62%. And they damn well don't use just 9 people.
Civilian labor force
In August 2024, the civilian labor force was 168.55 million people. This includes people who are at least 16 years old, are not in the military, and are not institutionalized, and who are either employed or looking for a job.
Full-time employees
In August 2024, there were 134.4 million full-time employees in the United States. This is a slight decrease from the previous month.
Employed persons
In August 2024, there were 161,434 thousand employed persons in the United States. This is an increase from July 2024, when there were 161,266 thousand employed persons.
Annual household income in U.S. dollars Percentage of U.S. households
50,000 to 74,999 15.7%
75,000 to 99,999 12.1%
100,000 to 149,999 17%
I 100% guarantee that after this circus they are now investing 500% more in automation vs last week
As long as you guys get to keep trafficking people through those containers right? I guess No lives matter to the Democratic party.
<NOW BIDEN AND HARRIS GIVE 8000000OOO0 USD, FOR ISRAEL SOLDIER, CNT NOT GIVE TO USA PEOPLE???.>Vice President Harris: Your Biden administration and the Democratic Party gave weapons and money to Israel, killing more than 7,000 Palestinian children. Do you have no awareness of human rights? Should 50,000 Palestinians and thousands of Lebanese civilians die for America's interests? Do you have respect for life, human rights, welfare, and humanity? They are difficult to find in you.
Every big media news story on this is nothing but doom and gloom about the economy and supply chains, and doesn't give two *** about the workers who essentially keep this country running. How about the shipping companies that are making record profits give a tiny crumb of extra money in the form of a raise and we go about our day.
Who's going to reimburse the Maggots for their toilet paper?👀
Now it`s time to start the automation process. And make it fast.
Brandon said he wasnt going to get involved before the strike now the administration quietly says please go back to work . I thought Democrats were for organized labor however 2 strikes Brandon gets involved and doesn’t back up the labor.
we're the only developed country in the world that doesn't utilize more automation! We don't want to be left behind! We need AI and automation! I'm rather deal with a machine then a grumpy worker!
I don’t trust it
As a Machinist I can 100% guarentee those picketers that machines do, in fact, feed families
Who’s going to reimburse me for all the supplies I bought? I was in support with the dock workers so I stocked up on TP, BEER,BEER,BEER and some BEER. You couldn’t last 3 days
There won't be any economic damage. And all prices will continue going down. Interest rates will drop again at the end of the year.
The strike is not over it was delayed until January 15th because it was hurting the Democrats re-election campaign
US Govt is offering $750 per family for victims of Helene, while they gave $150B to the Jews in Israel to provide free housing free education free healthcare for 9m Jews in Israel. Why are Israeli Jews more sacred For Biden and the Congress than the 340m American tax payers?US Govt is offering $750 per family for victims of Helene, while they gave $150B to the Jews in Israel to provide free housing free education free healthcare for 9m Jews in Israel. What the He!! is wrong with you people. The average wage of an American worker. is $40,000. So what in all that's Holy make you worth $131,000 a year. I hope with a vingence they are devising a robot army to assume some of the despirate burden that makes your job so stressful that you think your worth that redicious amount. Three times what the average worker gets.
Looks like someone didn't like the spotlight. Their greed was showing!
Where is Kamala? She should solve this problem right away.
Greedy corporations hoarding profits, so much for trickle down. These news stories always put the responsibility of contract negotiation on the workers, giving the greedy corporations a pass for not being fair. For once I'd like to see strike news that sides with the workers.
They are fools. After the elections they have zero chance. Unions are dead…
The union head said he is going to cripple the US economy. Isn't that a threat to national security? Biden and Harris are sure taking this far more leisurely than they should. Liz Cheney said she was a Ronald Reagan Republican. When the air traffic controllers had a strike threatening US air travel, Reagan fired them all. Do Biden and Harris have the guts to do something similar?
