Napoli manager Manna, in a recent interview, spoke about clubs being interested in signing top Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen’s future at Napoli has become a focal point in the transfer market, with several of Europe’s top clubs expressing interest in the prolific striker. With Napoli’s transfer fee seemingly far exceeding what any club would be willing to offer, many are wondering what the striker’s next move will be.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Napoli director Manna finally answered questions about Victor Osimhen’s future and the clubs interested in signing him, saying: “Osimhen? The situation is at an impasse now. He wants to leave, but I can’t say anything about PSG or Chelsea… We are currently trying to find a solution with his camp.”
Despite Napoli’s high asking price, interest in Osimhen remains high, with teams from the Premier League and other top European leagues keen to sign him. His aggressiveness, quickness and goal-scoring record make him an attractive target for teams looking to strengthen their attacking line.
Osimhen has frequently voiced his respect for Napoli and their supporters but has not ruled out accepting a new challenge in a higher league, fuelling rumours that Napoli are keen to sign a star player and that a move could be made if the right offer materialises.
