“The Ultimate Fighter 32” bracket officially concluded on Saturday with the final bout airing live as part of the UFC on ESPN 62 fight card.
The series wrapped up on Tuesday, just as the field was announced for this Saturday’s UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The first final was at featherweight, and ended in a stunning fashion with Myron Santos defeating Khan Ofri with an ultra-violent knockout at 1 minute 30 seconds into the second round.
Santos (15-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) earned his spot in the finals by defeating Edwin Cooper Jr. and Guillermo Torres by unanimous decision in exhibition bouts in the series. Prior to his appearance on the reality TV show, Santos competed in regional tournaments in Brazil before fighting several times under the LFA banner.
Ofri (11-3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) won against Nathan Fletcher and Rowdy Loetz in a series leading up to Saturday’s final. He entered the UFC as the Hex Fight Series featherweight champion and had not lost since June 2016. His eight-fight winning streak was ended.
