Manchester United have shown a persistent interest in signing Barcelona star players in recent years, with the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo attracting interest from the Premier League outfit.
Now, as we enter the final fortnight of the summer transfer window, it appears that another Barcelona player is catching the eye of Erik ten Hag’s side.
Manchester United in pursuit of Rafinha
In fact, according to SPORT, Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona and Brazil star winger Rafinha.
The 27-year-old Brazil international has been linked with a move this summer, with a Saudi Arabian club also interested, as well as Premier League club Newcastle United.
Now it looks like Manchester United have also joined the list of fans of the former Leeds United winger.

The Red Devils are reportedly planning to part ways with Anthony after struggling to live up to expectations at Old Trafford, while Jadon Sancho’s future is also uncertain, which has led United to consider Rafinha as a way to strengthen the side.
Rafinha wants to stay, but Barcelona are considering selling
Rafinha, meanwhile, has always maintained he does not want to leave Barcelona, despite receiving a steep bid from Saudi Arabia, and is unlikely to change his mind easily at Manchester United.
However, Barcelona are aware they need to make at least one big sale in the coming days and see the Brazil international as a player who can generate revenue.
Furthermore, with Barcelona starting Lamine Yamal on the right wing and working on signing another winger, Rafinha’s regular playing time is still not guaranteed.
The Catalans are therefore prepared to sell Rafinha if an offer of more than 60 million euros is made, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United’s interest will bear fruit for something bigger.
