Hallmark star Mamie Loverlock shared a message of gratitude to fans as she continues to recover after falling five stories from a hospital balcony in May.
The 20-year-old actress, who returned home from the hospital in August, expressed gratitude for the letters of support from her fans in a short video she shared on her official Facebook page on Thursday.
“Thank you for such a beautiful card,” Loverlock said in the video as she lay in bed.
“I have a lot of them, and I love them all,” she added, smiling as she held up a stack of cards. “thank you.”

Loverlock starred as nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan on “When Calls the Heart” for three seasons.

Earlier this week, Loverlock shared a photo of himself reuniting with his co-stars from the show, including Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Kevin McGarry, Andrea Brooks, Kavan Smith, Pascal Hutton and Chris McNally.
The image was taken at Hallmark’s Hearties Family Reunion event in September, and features Loverlock using a walker and posing with other cast members while making a heart shape with his hands. I could see him doing it.
“There’s a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow,” she wrote in the caption of a photo she uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday.
โBack to the warm light of When Calls the Heart reunion,โ Lovelock added. “I love you.”
Loverlock also shared Wagner’s post featuring the same image. “Seeing is believing!” Wagner wrote in the caption with 100 emojis and a red heart.
In response to this post, Loverlock commented, “I have infinite love for all the cast. Thank you so much.”
According to a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign established in May, the actress suffered an undisclosed “medical emergency” several weeks after falling from a balcony and was placed on life support.
In an update to her GoFundMe page in June, her family said, “Her body was shattered. She underwent two 11-hour surgeries by two doctors, a 3-hour surgery, and today… I had one surgery. We can only feel grateful.” The doctors and nurses who have treated her in an exemplary manner since May 26th. โ
It added that Ms Lovelock was “enduring severe pain”.
“We can only continue to embrace the miracles of each day, thank everyone for your prayers, and continue to marvel at the miracle of her story,” they shared online. “Our daughter loves her life and her family and fights hard every day.”

Lovelock reached a milestone several months after his fall. A video shared on Facebook in early August showed her standing and walking.
A caption next to the video read: “Thank you to the surgeons, thank you to the prayers, thank you to the Lord. Mamie is just taking her first steps.”

Loverlock had been in intensive care for two weeks before the fall, and was “escorted from a secure room in the hospital to a balcony walkway from where he fell from the fifth floor.”

Her parents, Nicole and Rob Compton, previously said online: “She suffered life-threatening injuries, underwent multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support.”

Loverlock’s family updated her Facebook page in August to congratulate her on her release from the hospital.
The post read, “Dreams do come true.” “Welcome back mommy”
The post featured a photo of a cake for the actress and a sign that read “Home Sweet Home.”

A comment on the Facebook page said: “She is still seriously injured but we will be taking care of her personally.” “She needed to be home. I’m so happy for her. She’s come so far…the next chapter. It’s a blessing to have her home.”
