Saudi Pro League giants Al Nasr and Ittihad Jeddah are reportedly interested in West Ham United star forward Mohamed Kuds.
According to TEAMtalk, Al Nasr and Al Ittihad are offering a wage package that would be difficult for most players to refuse, with the Ghanaian winger being offered a staggering £212,000-per-week deal.
West Ham signed Kudus from Ajax for £38 million last year and he has had a fantastic season with the Hammers, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 33 games, as well as six goals in 14 games in the UEFA Europa League.
West Ham will want to keep their prized player but may not be able to compete with the astronomical wages on offer. That doesn’t mean the Hammers will give in easily – they are known to be tough negotiators, having forced Arsenal to pay £105m for Declan Rice.
The Hammers would demand a significant transfer fee if they were forced to sell Kudus, as his hefty £85 million release clause recently expired, giving West Ham complete control and significantly strengthening their position in negotiations.
Both Ittihad Jeddah and Al Nasr are looking to strengthen their squads in order to challenge Al Hilal, who swept all domestic titles last season.
