Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone has died. He was 63 years old.
Ciccone, one of Madonna’s seven siblings, died Friday after a battle with cancer, his representative confirmed in a statement to People magazine.
Ciccone said in a statement that she passed away “peacefully” surrounded by her loved ones, including her husband Ray Tucker. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ciccone and Tucker married in 2016.
HuffPost has reached out to Madonna’s representatives for comment.

Ciccone’s death comes less than two weeks after he and Madonna’s stepmother, Joanne Claire Ciccone, died of a “very aggressive form of cancer” on September 24, according to an online obituary. It is said that

Last February, the pop icon’s older brother, Anthony Ciccone, who was also battling cancer, passed away from respiratory failure and throat cancer. He was 66 years old.
Christopher Ciccone worked closely with his superstar sister from early on in her career. He appeared as a backup dancer in several of her music videos, including “Everybody” and “Lucky Star.”
He worked as art director on the artist’s Blonde Ambition World Tour in 1990 and as production design lead for her The Girly Show tour in 1993.
Ciccone is survived by his father, Silvio Ciccone, and his siblings, Madonna, Martin, Paula, Melanie, Jennifer, and Mario.
