Mr. Beast and YouTube were not happy when Ludwig stole props from the set of CDawGVA’s annual charity auction, where 50 YouTubers compete for $1 million.

Ludwig made a huge mistake while filming Mr Beast’s latest challenge.
Although he didn’t win, he did take home the trophy in a contest in which 50 YouTubers competed for a $1 million video. Ludwig stole Jaden Animations’ play button, but it wasn’t the real thing; it was a replica made as a result of a deal Mr. Beast made with YouTube.
He intended to donate it to CDawGVA’s annual charity auction, but ended up being blocked because his contract with YouTube prohibited him from selling fake play buttons. Ludwig didn’t know this at the time. He said on The Yard podcast: “I didn’t know about the contract with YouTube so I just thought it was funny and stole Jaden’s button. The day the video was going to be released, I told them in the chat that I got a play button and I was going to sell it at Connor’s auction.”

“Then my phone rang. I’d been away all day and when I came back it was Mr. Beast’s team. Apparently they’d signed a legal agreement saying they couldn’t sell it. It couldn’t be auctioned off. [at CDawgVA’s charity auction.]”
Thankfully, after winning the Mr. Beast Challenge, Jaden donated his play button to an auction, which sold for $20,200. In another charitable effort, Jaden is using his $1 million prize money to send a portion of his subscribers to art school.
Other high bids included a gaming session with Pokimane that sold for over $30,000 and Ranboo’s $18,000 bid for a Hatsune Miku car. Through bids and donations, CDawgVA has raised over $500,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
Despite the drama surrounding the Mr. Beast video, fans still loved watching it. In fact, they almost lived for the drama, and Ludwig remained at the center of it all, accusing the entire contest of being rigged in favor of Logan Paul.
Although both Ludwig and Logan lost, Ludwig noticed some clues about how Logan was playing the game that didn’t seem convincing to him: he noted that Logan seemed to have the advantage from the start and knew about the events beforehand. Of course, as Ludwig pointed out, it was all just speculation, and Logan himself denied it.
