Lifehouse Theater is pleased to announce the launch of its 31st season, offering a unique musical experience that engages audiences through the songs of their childhood. Robert J. Sherman’s “A Spoonful of Sherman” celebrates the unforgettable melodies of the Sherman brothers (Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman) and their extraordinary legacy, and is one of the most memorable songs ever created. offers a toe-tapping tribute to some of the most iconic music.
This heartwarming musical journey also spotlights their father, Al Sherman, and tells viewers about the Sherman family’s remarkable contributions to popular culture over more than 100 years. “A Spoonful of Sherman” was originally conceived as a cabaret-style performance, but Robert J. Sherman masterfully transforms it into a story-driven production, which Lifehouse Theater is proud to present in its West Coast premiere .
This high-octane combination of song, dance, and live music brings to life the beloved works of three generations of the Sherman family. Audiences will be enchanted by the timeless songs of Disney classics. This is a nostalgic celebration of music that has touched generations and is a must-see for theatergoers of all ages.
Performances will begin on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM and continue over the weekend until November 10, 2024.

“A Spoonful of Sherman” is directed by Lifehouse Theater veteran director Sarah E. Pierce. Pearce is supported by an experienced production team including assistant director Alyssa Kiranakis, music director Sage Munson, choreographer Michael Milligan and costume designer Ruth Flash. Scenic design was by Jacob Michel, and lighting design was by Josiah Evans.
The production features a talented cast including Hilary Myburger, Autumn Munson, Sage Munson, Elizabeth Minders, Michael Milligan, Zach Swan Van Lent, and Steven Van Dorn. and all of them have worked extensively within and outside the Inland Empire. Together, they intend to bring the Sherman Brothers’ timeless music to life for audiences.
