Layla plans to reunite with Michelle McCool and return to Laycourt, even if only for one night.
The former WWE “Divas” were asked about a possible reunion while speaking on the podcast “They Made Their Way to the Ring.” she said,
“I’d love to reunite LayCool, even if it’s just for one night. Even though it’s really over, Michelle and I feel we owe each other and would love to see us again.” I also feel that I owe it to the LayCool fans who are thinking about it. If I could do it, I would do it.”
Ethan Page was a recent guest on Sports Illustrated’s podcast, The Takedown, where he talked about what it’s like working for Shawn Michaels, what he’ll do when he quits wrestling, and more. We talked about topics.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below.
On working with Shawn Michaels: “I’m happy to say he’s been very supportive. But I also want everyone in this building to be here to execute Shawn Michaels’ vision as our leader.” And I’m happy to have a leader with a plan, direction, and a plan. [for him] To incorporate me in that direction. For me, I feel like he’s doing a great job and the reason I’ve been able to create so many moments in my career in such a short amount of time is because Sean is this guy and he’s It shows you trust the process of what you’re doing, he says. When something comes to mind or I want to have a conversation with him, he’s right there and easily accessible. I’m 100 percent thrilled to be working for Shawn Michaels. ”
On what he would have done if he had decided to quit wrestling: “My wife and I have had this conversation. I’ve meant to say it a thousand times, but I’m going to say it honestly probably 15 times. It’s a real ‘What should I do? ?I don’t know if this is it, but you might want to look into it. ” The YouTube channel played a huge role in helping me create an exit plan for myself. I don’t know if it hurt me or helped me. Because in the position I’m in now, I don’t want to say I’ve given up on all external projects. I still have a comic book coming out and I want to do a YouTube project, but my ultimate goal was to go to WWE.
“Right now I’m here, but I’m in a slightly different place because anything that takes my focus away from here just distracts me. If I wasn’t here, everything would be… If I had failed, I probably would have started a YouTube channel or a podcast and made a lot of money just by tearing down pro wrestling, burning a bunch of bridges, and telling stories that probably never should have been told. Thank you Shawn Michaels for saving your career, because I definitely would have told you everything about anyone’s career that I didn’t blow up on my hypothetical YouTube channel. For those listening, make sure I don’t retire or you guys are screwed. [laughs]”
