Kevin Hart delivered a surprisingly “hard” verse during his guest appearance on the 2024 AMP cypher, including an unexpected Cantonese part.
Kevin Hart and Kai Senatto became one of the most unlikely duos in the streaming world, with the comedic superstar making multiple appearances on Kai’s streams to hype the pair up.
Together, the two have broken viewership and subscriber records, created an iconic moment through a spontaneous phone call with LeBron James, and resurrected a meme that Kai Senat probably wished would stay dead.

Now, they’ve collaborated again, but this time off-stream, for bigger YouTube content, with Kevin Hart making a surprise guest appearance on AMP’s annual cypher to deliver a verse.
Introduced as “Chocolate Dropper, aka Droppa, aka Real Rap Raw,” the comedian started off by addressing Kendrick Lamar’s criticism of Drake, specifically his verses on “Not Like Us” and “Like That.”
Apart from the usual boastful bars you’d expect from a cypher freestyle, Kevin rapped in Cantonese and stunned viewers with one of the most ridiculous left hooks: Yes, you read that right, Kevin Hart has started rapping in Cantonese.

Presumably this was done in reference to Kai’s friend Lay, who is Taiwanese and would presumably understand what was being said. Kevin finished the Cantonese bars by stating “It’s a different language, I’ve got it all in my bag.”
“Kevin raps like it’s still the 90’s,” one person commented on Kevin’s cypher, while another wrote, “Kevin Hart brother got his old school rap on.”
Others couldn’t help but point out Kevin’s Kendrick reference, with one person writing, “I think Kevin thought it was Kendrick Lamar when he said the line, ‘Sometimes you gotta come out and show your black face’.”

Kevin’s cypher ended with him criticizing AMP, taking the mic away, walking out, and threatening to do another freestyle.
