The 2024 Summer Olympics kicked off with an opening ceremony on Friday night, but not everyone was thrilled with the results.
Some in X accused organizers of mocking Christianity by staging demonstrations during the ceremony that appeared to mock “The Last Supper.”
What does the Olympics have to do with men in dresses mocking Christians with a fake Last Supper?
Why has every “event” in Europe or America become a predictable platform for infiltrating the fetishism of a minority into the lives of a bemused majority?

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Alabama) also weighed in on her own X account, saying the same thing.
This was a deliberate choice to mock Christianity and Christians.
It’s shameful. And this is the same kind of bizarre insanity being forced upon children and young people across America. We need to turn to God and regain our common sense. https://t.co/gfVOV29fY0

“This was a deliberate choice to mock Christianity and Christians. It is shameful and this is the same kind of bizarre insanity being forced upon children and teens across America. We need to turn to God and regain our common sense,” Britt wrote.
In response, @3YearLetterman, a popular troll account that often engages in humorous exchanges with politicians, commented, “Jesus is a great American who literally wrote the Bible. The French hate both.”
Britt’s response to him will go into the Twitter Hall of Fame.
It’s true that France has never won an SEC Championship, which may make people uneasy.

“It’s true that France has never won an SEC championship, and this will make people nervous,” she said.
No matter how many medals the French team wins as the Olympics go on, they may never taste the glory of an SEC championship.
