It’s no secret that Cardi B and Joe Budden haven’t always been on the best of terms, but recently, their relationship has reached an entirely new level. Today, the “Bongos” performer went live on Twitter to slam Budden for only ever seeming to have negative things to say about her. Her rant appeared to be in response to Budden’s claim on a podcast that Cardi won’t be releasing any more albums, instead speculating that she’ll be a “singles artist.”
“I don’t understand why I keep letting this guy harass me,” she said. “If you want to hear my album, you can stop by my studio sessions. You can stop by! But I’m so tired of you throwing my name around and acting like you’re doing it because you actually want a project from me. No, you want to destroy my projects just like you destroy all my singles. Destroy my singles, destroy my personal life, destroy everything I do. So this is not from my heart.”

She went on to urge Buden to leave her alone, slamming him for being particularly blatantly critical of her. Cardi also accused him of giving her a lap dance and doing cocaine. After the video of the rant began circulating online, Buden responded to X. “I promise you I will not cover a single thing this girl does in the rest of her career… Peace and love,” he wrote. “I have never even gotten a lap dance from this woman.”
Badun also denied using cocaine and insisted that he actually loves Cardi’s music. “Really just wanted an album from someone who’s doing music I love,” he said. “She kept her cool blaming me but she’s still hilarious lol. I’m going to bed now. I apologize to @iamcardib for what I did. Peace and love to everyone.”
