Jeremy Allen White’s new Calvin Klein ad has gay Twitter users going wild
Jeremy Allen White is back at Calvin Klein, and his new skin-and-underwear ads for the iconic line are sending gay Twitter users into a frenzy.
“After taking the internet by storm with his debut campaign for the American fashion brand, the ‘The Bear’ star has reunited for another buzzworthy ad,” Variety reported.
According to Variety, previous ads saw the 33-year-old actor “posing shirtless on a tattered couch before being put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace,” but the new campaign “sees him lounging poolside in Los Angeles wearing the brand’s latest underwear and denim collection.”
“Mert Aras is back to filming the campaign and video to The Shaxx’s ‘Crimson and Clover,'” the outlet added.
The video, which is just under a minute long, shows White emerging from the pool fully clothed, playing with a dog, squinting his eyes into the camera and sipping a refreshing drink as water dribbles down his torso.
“Throughout the campaign, White wears underwear and denim styles from Calvin Klein’s Fall 2024 collection, which includes ’90s straight, slim fit and standard straight jeans, a ’90s trucker jacket and a monogrammed logo T-shirt,” Variety details. “Underneath, she wears Modern Cotton Air and iconic Cotton Classic underwear, complemented by new sunglasses.”
Calvin Klein posted photos and videos of the new spot on Instagram, where they received glowing praise.
“Glad to be alive ❤️🔥,” one commenter raved.
“Is this how he gets a Michelin star?” joked another.
But if all that was craving-worthy, it was the image of White reclining in a sheet-covered chair, wearing only a pair of grey Calvin Klein jeans, that really got the internet going.
Memes and exclamations sprung up one after the other.
