Longtime lovers Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are engaged, a rep for the couple confirmed to The Insider With Yahoo. The 28-year-old model debuted her Neil Lane engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
It is unclear when Statham, 48, proposed, but the couple, who have been dating for about five years, had just returned from a romantic getaway to Phuket, Thailand.

Huntington-Whiteley and the action star have been notoriously private about their relationship, but last year the model and actress opened up to Self magazine about her love life.
“We’re best friends,” she said. “He makes me laugh every day. It’s like I’ve never had a proper boyfriend!”
“Jay and I are just moving forward with our relationship,” she added, explaining that the pair aren’t concerned with breakup rumors. “Someone said to me the other day, ‘I really respect your personal life,’ and I said, ‘Really? That’s interesting.’ It’s harder to be public about a relationship than it is to keep it private. But my relationship is not part of my brand. It’s my private life, and of course he feels that way too.”

The Mad Max: Fury Road actress even hinted that she wants to have kids before marriage.
“There’s a lot of pressure for couples who’ve been together for a while to get married,” she said of her decision to take the plunge. “I fully believe in marriage, but being in a happy relationship is so much more important to me…” [Kids are] This will become more of a reality in the near future.”
