Singer Justin Bieber and model Hailey Bieber have welcomed their first child. Baby, baby, ooh!
The “Baby” musician announced the happy news on Instagram this weekend, sharing a photo of the baby’s tiny feet wrapped in a fluffy blanket.
“Welcome Jack Bruce Bieber,” he captioned the photo.
Justin Bieber, 30, and Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), 27, revealed they were expecting a baby in May by posting videos and photos from a pregnancy photoshoot on Instagram.
The “Peaches” hitmaker and the Lorde Cosmetics founder married at a New York City courthouse in September 2018, then tied the knot again a year later in a grander, more religious wedding in Bluffton, South Carolina.
The celebrity couple has been together on and off since 2014. When he proposed in 2018, Justin Bieber promised to love his then-fiancée “patiently and tenderly” for the rest of his life via Instagram.
Hailey Bieber recently opened up about her decision to hide her pregnancy from public for six months in an interview with W Magazine, explaining that her belly “stayed small for so long” that wearing larger clothes “helped me keep it a secret.”
“I could have kept it hidden until the end,” she told the fashion magazine.
“But I didn’t want the stress of not being able to enjoy the outside world of my pregnancy. I felt like I was hiding a big secret, and that didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
By Sunday morning, more than 560,000 people, including Olympians Coco Gauff and Simone Biles, had congratulated the Biebers on the birth of their baby on Instagram.
