SOUTH DAYTON – About 30 talented students are gearing up to entertain community members by taking to the stage in a musical for South Dayton’s summer theater camp.
The Drama Club will perform “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” in the Pine Valley Middle/High School auditorium at 6pm on Thursday and Friday, July 25th and 26th, 2024. Tickets, on sale at the door, are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
The cast is made up of 34 students from grades 5-8, plus many high school student volunteers who provide direction, lighting, stage crew and sound.
Based on Roald Dahl’s 1961 children’s book, James and the Giant Peach Jr. is a quirky, family-friendly offering suitable for all ages.
