WEST SILOAM SPRINGS – Doug Stone, known for telling tales of heartbreak and triumph, will take the stage at Seven Bar inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 8 p.m.
The show is free to the public, ages 21 and over.
With hits like “Jukebox and Country Songs” and “Too Busy to Love,” Stone dominated the country music world throughout the 1990s. Despite health challenges, including quadruple bypass surgery, Stone’s determination never wavered. His tenacity didn’t stop with music, as he also branched out into acting, appearing in films like “Gordy” and “God of Storms.”
Stone’s talent and tenacity culminated in an association with Epic Records in his 30s, where he released his self-titled debut album in 1990. His debut album skyrocketed with chart-topping singles like “I’d Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)” and “In a Different Light,” garnering critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination. Subsequent albums like “From the Heart” and “More Love” earned him multiple platinum and gold certifications, solidifying his status as a country music icon.
With over 30 years in the industry, Stone continues to captivate audiences across the nation with her timeless hits and newfound cool, and following the release of her 2022 acoustic album, Stone remains a symbol of pure country talent and inspiration.
