It is important that not only partner countries, but also defense companies around the world become increasingly interested in cooperation with Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in a video address in the evening.
“The second Defense Industry Forum was held today in Kiev. Representatives of about 300 companies from more than 30 countries participated, including Ukrainian companies and major foreign companies,” he informed.
The Head of State emphasized that it is of utmost importance for Ukraine that interest in cooperation continues to grow not only from partner countries, but also from defense companies from all over the world.
According to him, some of these agreements “have already been implemented, both regarding investment and localization of defense production in Ukraine. Many more are in the pipeline.”
“Ukraine is already producing things that did not exist before, such as 155 caliber and long-range unmanned vehicles, naval drones. We are creating a new base for the use of Western armored vehicles. It’s both repair and maintenance,” Zelenskiy emphasized.
